We're very happy to add this silky true black beauty to the Dakini foundation herd. Her dam, GLR Ariella, is a full Peruvian female sired by multi-champion and 2010 Dark Herdsire of the Year Shavano. Ariella's pedigree includes champions on both her dam and sire's sides and several award winning siblings including full sister GLR Ali, the 2010 AAA Futurity Reserve Black Color Champion, the 2010 GWAS Black Color Champion and the AOBA Nationals Reserve Black Female Color Champion, and full brother, GLR Arappaho who was the 2009 Mapaca and AOBA Black Male Color Champion. Black Silk's sire, WLK Magnum's Fyre, has a deep pedigree of color and has passed on his beautiful true black fleece to his daughter including fine independent locks, a splendid head, and coverage right down to her toes. Black Silk produced a beautiful mahogany colored female cria sired by Dakini Fiery Cross on July 2nd. We thought she'd never show up but once she did we couldn't be more pleased with the result. Black Silk gave us a gorgeous black female cria sired by Midas' Black Ice of Lunasea Farms on June 28. Delighted with this result!
